Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your name (optional), email address, and a securely hashed password (for email/password sign-in) or a Google account identifier (for Google sign-in).
• Purchase data: records of your purchase, including a payment provider order reference and status. We do not store your card details.
• Usage data: download records, including the template downloaded, timestamp, and IP address, used to operate the Service and prevent abuse.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the Service, authenticate you, and grant access to purchased content.
• To process payments and provide customer support.
• To secure the Service, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers

We share limited data with providers who help us operate the Service:

• Supabase: database and file storage.
• PayPal and Creem: payment processing.
• Google: optional sign-in (only if you choose Google), and Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager for site usage statistics (only if you accept cookies).
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram): the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, used to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to build advertising audiences (only if you accept cookies). The Conversions API sends the same events from our servers rather than from your browser. Where you are signed in, this includes an irreversibly hashed version of your email address and account ID, which Meta uses only to match the event to an existing profile. We never send Meta your email address, name, or payment details in readable form.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

4. Cookies

We use two categories of cookies:

• Essential: keep you signed in and let the Service function. These are always active and cannot be turned off, since the Service would not work without them.
• Analytics & advertising: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API. These help us understand how visitors use the Service and measure and improve our advertising. They are only active if you accept them in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Nothing in this category loads, and no advertising event leaves our servers, until you do.

You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the site footer.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and purchase data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account (see below).

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at support@openworksheet.com.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
